No one’s life is exempt from trials and tribulations. It’s all in how you navigate those trials that give you the strength to keep going.
Oh my! It’s been a long time since I have popped up in your computer space. You may be saying to yourself, ” where has she been?” or something similar…
In real life…
I have not blogged or released a podcast since September of 2018. I remember sitting down with my awesome graphic designer where we chat about business, life, the ups and downs, and whatever comes to mind…
I told her “that I did not want to do Love Naturally anymore”…because I was tired of not feeling well each day, life was happening, I was confused, frustrated, and then I still feel the loss of my beloved brother who was in my corner making sure I kept myself all the way together! So…that’s why I have been on a hiatus…I wanted to quit, but beautiful people like you that God placed in my path randomly encouraged me along the way (they had no idea how I was feeling).
You see, I may have this brand called Love Naturally, but life is still happening to me. I’m not exempt from anything. Oh how I wish I was, but I’m not!!
I’ve learned since September that God is still in control no matter how long it takes for one to get it together— that’s how much love, grace, and mercy God has for His creation.
For you…
If you’re going through something in your life that is stressing you out (caused by you or not caused by you), making you feel like you want to give up, or you just want something to finally work out for you, know the trial will not always be there. It’s something you have to go through in this season of your life, and you will learn from it while being able to help someone else along the way.
My advice: When you get up each day— be intentional about getting up in your mind (this is how I’m able to finally blog again). As you become intentional in spite of how you ‘feel,’ you are allowing yourself the opportunity to walk through the valley instead of getting stuck for an extended period of time in the valley…
Note: Feel your feelings as scary or hurtful as they may be because God is not looking for perfection, He is looking for humility and for you to rely on Him.
Wisdom from Peter…
And after you suffer for a short time, God, who gives all grace, will make everything right. He will make you strong and support you and keep you from falling. He called you to share in his glory in Christ, a glory that will continue forever. (1 Peter 5:10)
