An existential crisis is one that often lurks around and doesn’t seem like it will transition into something better.
Have you ever found yourself in a situation that has been the same day in and day out? If so, what do you do?
What do you do, if the relationship that you want does not exist? What do you do if you’re in your 30s, 40s, 50s, or even 70s and you didn’t see yourself being ‘here?’ What do you do if you ‘see’ others having the time of their life, and your situation is still lurking around…and nothing appears to be getting better?! Well, that’s the existential crisis that often prowls around and has you in a place of feeling defeated.
Overcoming the crisis?
I’m finding that it’s not all about overcoming the crisis, it’s about your personal journey that no one can walk but you. It’s about God trusting you with your journey because He knows that even on your worst of days, you can still find the strength somewhere to call on the name of Jesus. It’s about God “giving you more than you can bear” because He’s pruning away the impurities that are attached to you, which sets you on the path of shining even brighter.

You see, the gremlin in your ear and your own voice of defeat are those things that often speak so loud, and cause you to give up right before you see your situation turn around.
I know your journey is not easy to walk along, and that’s why I want to let you know that none of this is a surprise to God. He knows how much to ‘allow,’ and He knows when to lift you up out of the crisis that seems like will never end.
As you keep down your journey, you will see the beauty if you don’t give up (giving it to God) while trying to cross over the bridge to get to the other side. You will cross it one step at a time as you continue to rely on God to give you the strength, mindset, and tenacity to do so
