As human beings, we look for others to make us feel good, and when we don’t get that recognition, we tend to look down on ourselves. In this episode, I encourage you to have a different approach to self-love by complimenting yourself.
Finding the balance in your life can be a challenging task when being pulled in different directions. Most of us have different tasks we do in a day. And when we do those tasks repeatedly each day, it can become exhausting, which leads to feeling overwhelmed.
The hurt that has been done to you by another person— reflect on the hurt by being honest with yourself, and then give yourself the time and space you need to be at peace.
To put it another way, you might face complex scenarios where you desire for the person to accept you, be okay with you, or even love you. But on the inside, you have a silent struggle approving of you ‘first.’
