Change is a process: Don’t give up while it’s happening
Change happens when you want it to happen.
Has it changed for you yet? Last week I released episode 24 of the Lessons In Loving Naturally podcast entitled When is it going to change. In this podcast, I discussed what change looks like, and what we have to do to see the change happen in our lives.
Change is not always the most comfortable thing we connect to, but it’s needed for us to begin to see the positive occurrences we want in our lives.
If you are faced with a difficult situation today that you want to see changed, take a step back (literally) and see what you can do on your end to begin to ‘activate’ the change.
Who’s in control?
At the end of every day, we are not in control, the Creator of the universe is. The beautiful thing is that He gives us free will to choose how we maneuver the paths put before us. If we get too far off of the path and not in His will for our lives, God knows what to allow in our lives to help us get back into alignment so that we receive the good gifts He has for us to receive on earth.
“What can I do today to see a change in my situation?”
- Connect with God from a place of humility because He knows the motives of your heart (be you. be real about how you feel).
- Talk to God randomly (He is not about religion, He is about cultivating a relationship with you)
- Ask, and then sit and listen to the promptings that come to your soul (mind, will, and emotions)
- Act on the promptings by choosing one thing to act on so you’re not overwhelming yourself by tackling the mountain all at once.
- Repeat 1-4 when needed.

Thanks for these profound-inspirational-yet convicting words of wisdom. Matter-of-fact, I can recall an older lady at a church in Michigan would call this, “Rich!” I’m going to agree, this is “rich.” Letting one’s light shine while on her/is not-so-pleasing journey could be challenging, but results growth if one stands on His promises. Keep this up, you are helping folk!
Thank you so much for your insight, your comment, and for reading the blog post today! It’s not convenient to let one’s light shine while they’re on their journey, but it’s a blessing to those that need it at the right time. Many blessings to you! 🙂
